Tony Asaro

Senior Consultant and Founder of INI Group

Tony Asaro is a senior consultant and founder of the INI Group. Most recently as the Chief Strategy Officer for Virtual Iron, a server virtualization company, Tony was responsible for product and business strategy. Prior to Virtual Iron, he was personally recruited by Michael Dell to run storage strategy for Dell Inc. Although Tony's time at Dell was brief, it was a valuable and singular experience. Tony spent approximately five years as a senior analyst and consultant at the Enterprise Strategy Group focusing on storage and data management including SAN, NAS, CAS, disk-to-disk backup, disaster recovery and a number of other core technologies and solutions. Tony has worked with HDS for approximately five years with an understanding of its products, value proposition and markets. Tony Asaro was the most quoted analyst in the storage industry for three years from 2005 to 2007 and authored a wide range of reports, articles and blogs.

Dale Miller

Vice President of Global Solution Services, Hitachi Data Systems

Dale Miller is Vice President of Global Solution Services for Hitachi Data Systems. Dale has been with HDS for four years helping to position HDS services and solutions with customers, sales teams and partners. Dale Miller has over 25 years of experience with a unique mix of storage engineering, IT consulting and business management. Dale has worked in engineering roles writing UNIX device drivers and language interpreters and also as a VP of Engineering for Legato/EMC. Working in consulting roles, Dale has worked as Director of Consulting for Siemens/Pyramid and as a Managing Principal for VERITAS.

Sean Moser

Vice President, Software Products, Hitachi Data Systems

Sean Moser is Vice President, Software Products at Hitachi Data Systems. Sean leads the Hitachi Data Systems software organization, encompassing Product Management and Design as well as overall strategy for Storage Management and File Services products. Since joining Hitachi in 2002, Sean has leveraged his 15 years of design and software development experience to develop a customer-centric software practice at Hitachi, with requirements based on customer input.

Sean's software design group directly interfaces with Hitachi's customers to define future products. They work in tandem with the software product management group, which owns all aspects of software from development to delivery. Together, the design and product management team delivers industry-leading software and tools that are solving real-world issues faced by IT professionals every day. Sean's team has worked with numerous customers in diverse industries such as Bank of America, Toyota, Sony and Paramount.
