Description: This test is designed for Hitachi Data Systems employees and partners who install Hitachi Unified Compute Platform solutions. The test will validate that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills in installing, configuring and supporting Hitachi UCP systems at customer sites. This includes strong knowledge of the systems hardware and components, and thorough understanding of installation and configuration procedures as well as associated administrative activities. The test also covers the tools, techniques and best practices related to supporting and servicing the Hitachi UCP systems. This test covers Hitachi UCP and Hitachi UCP with Unified Compute Platform Director solutions.

Hitachi UCP installation professionals should have strong knowledge and skills in installing and supporting systems deployed as part of Hitachi UCP and Hitachi UCP with Unified Compute Platform Director implementations. They perform pre-installation checks, install, configure and test the systems so they can be handed over in an operational state to customers. They also provide post-installation services including support, maintenance, updates and upgrades and have knowledge of problem-determination and incident-resolution procedures, tools and techniques.
