  • VSS – Hitachi hardware provider for Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Services (VSS), used to create storage-based snapshots.
  • VDS – Hitachi hardware provider for Volume Disk Services, used to monitor the status of Hitachi storage devices.
  • SCOM MP – Hitachi provides integrations for Systems Center Operations Manager Management Packs allowing for alerts and notifications for Hitachi storage devices.
  • VMM– Hitachi integrations for Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager, a scripted environment that lets you automate the management of virtual machines (VM).
