Certification Prep Sessions

The certification prep sessions are one day instructor-led training courses providing an opportunity to become Hitachi Data Systems Certified. The course helps learners prepare for and take the Hitachi Data Systems Foundations Enterprise (HH0-110) or Modular Certification (HH0-120) exam. This refresher provides a focus on key areas of expertise for the Hitachi Data Systems Professional (Foundations track) credential. The training is applicable for those with experience with Hitachi Data Systems products and technology.  Participants who are not experienced with Hitachi Data Systems products and solutions should not expect to obtain certification at this event. This is not a replacement for the Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations courses (Enterprise - THI0517) and (Modular - THI0515).

These one day cert prep courses are:

• Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Enterprise Certification Prep (THI1175), 1 day ILT
• Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Modular Certification Prep (THI1165), 1 day ILT

For those who are new to the program we recommend that you take the full Storage Foundations courses prior to these cert prep sessions.  These courses are:

• Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Enterprise Four-day Instructor-led Boot Camp (THI0517)
• Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Modular Three-day Instructor-led Boot Camp (THI0515)

There are three options for the certification prep sessions:

• Custom sessions brought to your location. We request that there are at least six partners/customers in attendance at these sessions.  The benefit of the custom session is that you can set the date and location of the training and we bring the instructor and a mobile testing center and offer the certification exam onsite at the conclusion of the course.   The morning is dedicated to a quick review on key test objectives, a "fire-hose" approach of reviewing pertinent information at a quick pace.  The afternoon is dedicated to onsite certification testing, chalk talk and study time with the instructor.  Counseling on training and certification paths is also provided.  If you are interested in scheduling a custom session you can contact Greg Muzerall at greg.muzerall@hds.com
• Instructor Led sessions scheduled in the learning center. You can search for the course codes in the learning center to find the certification prep sessions scheduled at various HDS offices throughout the year.  In these sessions, students will receive the same quick review on key test objectives, but the test is taken using a remote Prometric test center.  Students are given a voucher to schedule an exam at their local Prometric testing center.  These cert prep courses are:
  • Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Enterprise Certification Prep (THI1175), 1 day ILT
  • Hitachi Data Systems Storage Foundations—Modular Certification Prep (THI1165), 1 day ILT
• Virtual Instructor Led Courses (vILT -instructor led via WebEX).  In these 4 hour sessions, students will receive the same quick review on key test objectives, but the test is taken using a remote Prometric test center.  Students are given a voucher to schedule an exam at their local Prometric testing center.  These vILT courses are:
  • Hitachi Data Systems Certification Exam Preparation vILT: Foundations Enterprise (THE1852)
  • Hitachi Data Systems Certification Exam Preparation vILT:  Foundations Modular (THE1853)
