The test covers pre-deployment considerations, implementation techniques and best practices and the tools related to deploying, supporting and maintaining the solutions.
Products used in virtualization solutions include Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager and Global Link Availability Manager software, Hitachi Device Manager™ and Storage Services Manager software, Hitachi Universal Volume Manager and Hitachi Tiered Storage Manager software, Hitachi Virtual Partitioning and Cache Partitioning Manager software and Hitachi Dynamic Provisioning™ software.
Solution specialist engineers should have strong knowledge and skills in deploying, using and managing the Hitachi Data Systems hardware and software products involved in storage solutions implementations. They understand the Hitachi Data Systems services portfolio and adhere to proven Hitachi Data Systems professional services delivery methodologies.
They have knowledge of storage networks concepts and designs and in the area of interoperability of storage networking.
