Hitachi Volume Migration Software
Hitachi Volume Migration software allows you to balance workloads among disk drives, logical volumes, and processors by removing performance bottlenecks on Hitachi enterprise storage systems. It can automatically or manually migrate high-usage volumes to low-usage disk drives or faster disk drives, based on past disk usage.
Volume Migration software balances workloads among disk processors, which control disk I/Os. Its operations are completely non-disruptive the data being migrated can remain online to all hosts for read and write I/O operations through the entire migration process.
