Virtual Tape Library Solutions from Hitachi Data Systems provides all the benefits of backing up to disk without changing established backup policies or procedures. These solutions deliver the speed, reliability and availability of disk-to-disk backup operations and enable existing backup applications to use disk as their backup medium.

Virtual Tape Library Solutions feature industry leading data de-duplication technology that can provide a reduction in storage capacity of up to a 25 times or more. This technology also efficiently copies and restores data from up to 12 independent sites with your disaster recovery site using cost- effective IP networks.
