Server Requirements

Hitachi Tuning Manager software uses a database to store performance statistics.

For Windows or Solaris installations, the server requirements are:

• 3GHz CPU or better
• 2GB memory or more

A disk sizing tool is available for estimating total disk requirements for the Tuning Manager server database.

Note: Effective with Version 6.0 and later, the Hitachi Tuning Manager server may be on the same server as Hitachi Device Manager.

The total number of resources supported per Tuning Manager management server is 128,000.
