The following are the minimum suggested requirements for running the Resource Manager utility package on Microsoft Windows platforms.

• Operating system: Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003 (R2):
• Windows 98 requires MSIME 98-98-SRI
• DirectX version 8.1 or later
• Processor (CPU): Pentium II, III, IV (233 MHz or more is recommended.)
• Memory: 256MB (512MB or more is recommended.)
• Available hard drive space: 50.3MB max (A free capacity of 100MB or more is required.)
• Java Runtime Environment: j2re-1.4.2_07

The following are the minimum suggested requirements for running the Resource Manager utility package on Unix and Linux.

Solaris

• Sun server/workstation
• Operating system: Solaris 7, 8, 9
• CPU: UltraSPARC or better
• Memory: 256MB (512MB or more is recommended.)
• Disk capacity: 72.7MB max (A free capacity of 100MB or more is required.)

HP-UX

• HP server or workstation
• HP-UX 11.0
• CPU: PA8000 or more is recommended
• Memory: 256MB (512MB or more is recommended.)
• Disk capacity: 119MB max (A free capacity of 200MB or more is required.)

Red Hat Linux

• Operating system: Red Hat Linux 7.3, 8.0
• Kernel version:
  • Red Hat Linux 7.3: 2.4.18-3
  • Red Hat Linux 8.0: 2.4.18-14
• glibc version:
  • Red Hat Linux 7.3: 2.2.5-34
