The following are the minimum suggested requirements for running the Resource Manager utility package on Microsoft Windows platforms.

• Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4), Microsoft Windows XP (SP2) or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (SP1 or later), Windows Vista
• Pentium III 1 GHz or better, strongly recommended Pentium 4 2.4GHz or better (required for Vista)
• 512MB RAM, more recommended (2GB or more recommended for Vista)
• Minimum 150MB available hard drive space
• TCP/IP and 100BaseT Ethernet
• Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1) or later
• JRE 1.4.2, 1.5.0, 1.6.0

The following are the minimum suggested requirements for running the Resource Manager utility package on Unix and Linux (supported by Resource Manager utility package for Hitachi Universal Storage Platform^® and Hitachi Network Storage Controller storage systems only).

• Sun Solaris 8, 9; 10 500MHz UltraSPARC or better
• Sun Solaris 10 SPARC64 or AMD64/EMT64T
• HP-UX 11.0, 11i 600 Mhz PA-8000
• HP-UX 11.23 or 11.31 Itanium 2
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS Version 2.1 (IA-32) or Ver4.0 (IA-32) Pentium III 600 MHz or better
• 512MB RAM, more better
• Minimum 150MB available hard drive space
• TCP/IP and 100BaseT Ethernet
• Mozilla 1.4 or later (1.2.1 on Red Hat Linux only)
• JRE 1.4.2 or 1.5.0
