Overview

Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) Select for Oracle Database combines Hitachi enterprise compute blades or rack-optimized servers with Hitachi enterprise storage systems and standard network infrastructure. Use the solution with mission-critical databases, enterprise applications, data warehousing, analytics and business intelligence.

Deploy mission-critical Oracle online transaction processing (OLTP) and online analytical processing (OLAP) read-intensive workloads. Apply an array of capabilities that meets service-level agreements (SLA) for performance and data availability.

The solution is a pre-validated configuration ready for immediate deployment, and is already tested and sized for your unique environment. It includes:

  • Tools to streamline administration of Oracle instances
  • Plug-ins for Oracle Enterprise Manager and support for Oracle RMAN extend management capabilities
