Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), leverancier van informatietechnologieën, diensten en oplossingen, heeft op 13 juli het Hitachi Global Competency Center voor SAP^®-oplossingen geopend in Walldorf, Duitsland. Het centrum zorgt ervoor dat Hitachi Data Systems en SAP nauwer kunnen samenwerken aan de ontwikkeling en certificering van nieuwe HDS-oplossingen voor SAP-omgevingen.

Het centrum is 300 m2 groot en beschikt over een laboratorium en directiekamers waar met het SAP HANA^®-platform HDS-technologieën kunnen worden gepresenteerd. Dit platform stelt organisaties instaat om sneller de juiste zakelijke beslissingen te nemen en om uitgebreidinzicht in de business te krijgen met directe en intuïtieve toegang tot de juiste data. In het centrum kunnen gezamenlijke afspraken met klanten of partners plaatsvinden. Daarnaast werken HDS en SAP samen aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe technologieën, zoals op het gebied van cloud en real-time mobiele oplossingen.

Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced it is opening the Hitachi Global Competency Center for SAP^® solutions at the SAP campus in Walldorf, Germany. The center will enable closer collaboration between Hitachi Data Systems and SAP to develop and certify new HDS solutions for SAP solution-based environments.

The 300m² center contains a laboratory and board rooms to showcase HDS technologies with the SAP HANA^® platform, which enable organizations to make better business decisions more quickly and gain advanced business insight with immediate, intuitive access to data. The center will allow HDS and SAP to host mutual customer and partner meetings and to collaborate on development of new technologies in areas such as cloud and real-time mobile solutions.
