Information Age readers vote Hitachi Data Systems AMS2000 storage platform winner of Eco-Responsibility Award
The Hitachi Data Systems AMS 2500 has won the Eco-Responsibility Award in this year’s Information Age Innovation Awards. The Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage model 2500 beat stiff competition, including Dell, to win the award. This is a significant achievement for our modular range and underlines industry recognition of our commitment to sustainable IT. Storage Products of the Year
The Hitachi Adaptable Modular System (AMS) Series 2000 was selected by the editors of TechTarget’s Storage magazine and SearchStorage.com as a Bronze Award winner in its annual "Storage Products of the Year" awards program. The AMS 2000 family, the AMS 2100, AMS 2300 and the AMS 2500, was awarded the Bronze Award in the disk and disk subsystems category. The SearchStorage.com and Storage magazine Product of the Year awards recognize the elite technologies that impacted the storage industry in 2008. The Storage magazine-SearchStorage.com editorial staff, in conjunction with a team of users, industry experts, analysts, and consultants narrowed the finalists down to a list of 45 products across 5 different categories: backup and disaster recovery software, backup hardware, disk and disk subsystems, storage networking equipment and storage management software.
