SANTA CLARA, California — December 3, 2002 — Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. "In this changing marketplace, there is a convergence of IT and medical applications that is underway," said Scott Genereux, vice president, Global Marketing and Business Development, Hitachi Data Systems.
