SANTA CLARA, California — Oct 22, 2002 — Hitachi Data Systems president and COO, Dave Roberson, will be a featured keynote speaker at both the Lehman Brothers Global Storage Conference in San Francisco and at Storage Networking World in Orlando next week.
The Lehman Brothers Global Storage Conference: Pooling the Possibilities will take place October 27-29, 2002 at the Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental Hotel in San Francisco. In addition to Dave Roberson's keynote speech, Claus Mikkelsen, director of storage applications, will participate in a panel discussion entitled "Where Should Storage Intelligence Lie?" Roberson and Mikkelsen will join senior executives from the most prominent data storage companies to outline their visions for the future of the industry.
Roberson will deliver his keynote speech at 12:30 p.m. PST on Monday, October 28. The speech will be audiocast over the Web at the same time. The panel discussion featuring Mikkelsen will be held at 3:15 p.m. PST also on Monday, October 28.

Roberson will also deliver a keynote speech on October 29 at Storage Networking World. Thereafter, Hitachi Data Systems vice president and chief technologist, Hu Yoshida, will join senior executives from Sun, Brocade, EMC, VERITAS, IBM, and Hewlett-Packard for a panel discussion on "CIM-SAN: The Future of Interoperability" organized by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
The Storage Networking World conference will be held from October 27-30, 2002 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. Storage Networking World has fast become the leading global event series focused on the rapid growth of user implementation of storage networking technologies.
Roberson's keynote speech is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29 at 10:50 a.m. EST. The panel discussion featuring Yoshida will be held at 4:00 p.m. EST also on Tuesday, October 29.
