Agreement Signals New Strategy Between Industry Leaders to Offer Increased Manageability of Storage Area Networks
ISLANDIA, N.Y. and SANTA CLARA, California 2 August, 2000 — Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:HIT), today announced that Hitachi Data Systems will resell CA's flagship eBusiness enterprise management solution, Unicenter TNG, in conjunction with Hitachi Freedom Storage™ products and services.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hitachi Data Systems is licensed to resell CA's Unicenter TNG software, the industry's de facto standard for enterprise management. The agreement forms the basis for cooperative efforts to address enterprise infrastructure management needs.
