Kevin Eggleston leads the Hitachi Data Systems efforts for big
data, social innovation and vertical industries. He is the
organization’s key interface for integration and alignment with Hitachi,
Ltd. His responsibilities also include business planning, solution
requirements, and aligned research and
development.
Prior to his current
role, Eggleston was SVP and general manager of Asia Pacific. During his 4
years in this role, the region’s revenue nearly doubled. He joined
Hitachi Data Systems in 2005 as Western Region vice president in the
company’s Americas sales division. He oversaw sales in a 20-state region
and was credited with leading revenue growth and significant market
share gains.
A seasoned
professional of the storage industry with more than 30 years of
experience, Eggleston spent 24 years at StorageTek: 12 years in the U.S.
field in sales, sales management and branch management positions; and
12 years in international field positions including managing StorageTek
business in Latin America and Asia South Pacific regions. He also
managed U.S. and international regions for 2.5 years at
BlueArc.
Eggleston holds a bachelors degree in International Business from the University of Colorado.
