
Jack Domme leads a worldwide executive team responsible for all facets
of the company’s global operations.
Domme was named a
corporate officer of Hitachi, Ltd. in March 2013. He reports directly
to the CEO of Hitachi, Ltd. and serves on the strategic planning
committee of Hitachi, Ltd. Domme was promoted to CEO of Hitachi Data
Systems in April 2009 after serving 2 years as the company’s chief
operating officer. Prior to May 2007, he was executive vice president,
heading Hitachi Data Systems Global Solutions Strategy and Development.
In that role, he created a unified product and services organization
tasked with solution strategy and development. His responsibilities
included Hardware and Software Product Management, Global Solution
Services, Technical Operations, the Technology Office, Business
Development and Alliances, Global Product Marketing, and the Hitachi
Data Systems Academy.
Domme joined Hitachi Data
Systems as vice president, Storage Management Software, where he led the
company’s software business segment, with responsibility for strategy,
strategic alliances, product architectures, and development of Hitachi
Storage Management Suite software.
Before coming to
Hitachi Data Systems, Domme served as vice president of product and
sales engineering at Storage Networks, Inc., where he defined the
company's integrated software vision, architecture and roadmap. Prior to
Storage Networks, Domme was CTO and vice president of Engineering at
Mobilize, a mobile applications and content management company. He also
spent 13 years at HP where he led the Information Solutions and Services
Division, Information Access Solutions Group, and Client-Server Product
Group. At HP, he also held several software engineering
positions.
Domme has been recognized by the industry
for his leadership and his innovative approaches to information
delivery. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree, and Master of Business Administration degree from
New Mexico State University.
