
Brian Householder oversees the daily operation of Hitachi Data
Systems with direct, global responsibility for Sales, Service, Support,
Marketing, Business Development, Partner Development, IT and Logistics.
Householder’s responsibility is to keep the company’s strategy aligned
to its goals and vision, and to ensure ongoing loyalty to its
customers.
Prior to his current
role, he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in areas
such as strategic planning, partner enablement, acquisitions, and most
recently, as executive vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Business
Development and Partners. Householder helped lead many key initiatives
at HDS, including the company strategy and direction, BlueArc, Shoden
and Archivas acquisitions, as well as improvements to our marketing and
partner enablement
capabilities.
Householder joined HDS in 2003 from FilesX, where he ran the marketing and product management functions. Prior to that he was at Storage Networks, Inc., where he served in senior product management and marketing positions. He also worked at The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting and investment firm and was a senior financial analyst at Procter and Gamble. Householder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
