
Householder was promoted to senior vice president, Business Planning and Development, in 2007. With the added oversight of the Hitachi Data Systems Worldwide Marketing operations, the name of his organization was changed in May 2008.
Householder oversees the marketing and business development efforts for Hitachi Data Systems including policies, objectives and initiatives. He is also responsible for product marketing, global marketing competitive marketing and the Hitachi Data Systems Academy. Householder is tasked with assessing new markets, analyzing new strategic initiatives and developing new business opportunities.
He joined the company in September 2003. Until being named vice president, business planning and development, in October 2005, Householder served as senior director of Software Strategy and Business Development.
Householder came to Hitachi Data Systems from Storage Networks, Inc., where he served in senior product management and marketing positions. He also worked at The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting and investment firm, and was a senior financial analyst at Procter and Gamble.
Householder holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Indiana University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
