Hitachi HiCommand® Tiered Storage Manager software for data management enables IT administrators to easily and interactively match application quality of service requirements to heterogeneous storage assets. Tiered Storage Manager software, with the Hitachi Universal Storage Platform V, Hitachi Universal Storage Platform and Network Storage Controller, enables the non-disruptive movement of data volumes to match application-driven price, performance, and availability characteristics through an easy-to-use interface.
Tiered Storage Manager software is a prime enabler for the Services Oriented Storage Solutions framework. Now, administrators can quickly provision storage to meet application time-to-deployment requirements, then easily fine-tune provisioning into multi-dimensional tiers as time allows.
