Appointment to Drive the Adoption of Information Solutions Across Thailand
Bangkok – April 9, 2013 — Hitachi Data Systems Corporation (HDS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced the appointment of Marrut Manistitya as managing director for Thailand. With a reputation for excellent customer and partner management, Marrut will be responsible for accelerating HDS business growth in Thailand by strengthening and expanding the company’s customer and partner base.

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Marrut held key sales and IT roles in several large companies such as Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard (HP) Most recently, he led the Commercial and Public Sector Enterprise Sales team at Hewlett-Packard (HP), which comprised of key accounts in Banking, Retail, Telecom, and the Public Sector. Marrut earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Engineering degree from the School of Advanced Technology, Asian Institute of Technology.
