(NYSE: HIT / TSE: 6501), today announced that it has won a 2011 Network World Asia Reader’s Choice Product Excellence Award as winner of the Best Storage/Data Management Solution category.
The annual awards were created to recognize IT vendors and technologies that have made the most impact on organizations throughout the year. Winners were selected based on the voting results from readers of Network World Asia magazine as well as Networks Asia, the publication’s website. HDS joins a list of other top name winners, such as Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon and SingTel. Hitachi Asia has also won in the Server Infrastructure Management Solution/Tool category.
